Queen's birthday flypast

Saturday 12th June

I took these between Hatfield Peverel and Terling in Essex, unfortunately although I had a relatively unobstructed view I was about 1 mile too far north and ended up looking at the wrong side as far as photography was concerned and that coupled with a mainly dull sky and grey aircraft didn't make for ideal results, but here are a few of them anyway. The first wave was 2 typhoons and 2 tornados 3 in close formation with a further one behind and the second was a pair of VC.10s
		the photo to the left is a cropped image to enlarge one of the VC.10s - I must get down to Brize sometime to see these beauties whilst they are still around
Next was a Tristar accompanied by 2 tornados
formation 5 was a Nimrod with tornados
followed by more Tornados and finally the Red Arrows Hawks
